The Access 21 Achievement Awards 2024

On May 6th, 2025, we had our Access 21 Achievement awards that covered the achievements of Access 21 members from the year 2024. The categories for award nominees included the following:

  • Best informational/Educational Program
  • Best Arts and Entertainment Program
  • Best Religious Program (recorded in the studio)
  • Best Religious Program (recorded in the field)
  • Best Special (non-religious)
  • Best Special (religious)
  • Most Watched Video on Demand (VOD) Series
  • Most Watched Video on Demand (VOD) Episode
  • Best Podcast
  • Volunteer of the Year

The nominees for Best Informational/Educational Program included “The Dr. Olia Show”, with Malanie Maxwell as the Producer, “The Paul Brown Show,” with Paul Brown as the Producer, and “Views with Joyce Waddell,” with Joyce Waddell as the Producer. The winner for this category was The Dr. Olia Show.

Those nominated for the Best Arts and Entertainment Program included “The Debra Kennedy Show,” with Debra Kennedy as the Producer, “Heat Access News”, with Cicely Pringle as the Producer, and Vegas Games, with Vegas Newport as the Producer. The Debra Kennedy Show won the award for this category.

Nominations for the Best Religious Program (recorded in the studio) included “The God’s Glory Radio Show,” produced by Victor Marshall, “Wellness, Wholeness, Holiness,” Produced by Beth Marlin, and “The Wheelchair Ministry,” produced by Allen Webb. The award for this category went to Wellness, Wholeness, Holiness.

The nominations for Best Religious Program (recorded in the field) included “Edifi Church,” produced by Diana Edwards, “Gospel Connection,” produced by Ciblena Gurley, and “Worship at the Throne,” produced by Lillie Ellis. Edifi Church won this category.

Those nominated for Best Special (non-religious) were “Politics Matters,” with Johnelle Caswell as the Producer, “The Voice of Brain Injury: A Family Affair,” with Jashun Gaddy as the Producer, and “The Voice of Brain Injury: Support Groups,” also produced by Jashun Gaddy. The winner for that category was The Voice of Brain Injury: A Family Affair.

The nominees for Best Special (religious) were “Jesus Christian Center #1,” and “Jesus Christian Center #2,” both produced by Fred Lee, and “Wellness, Wholeness, Holiness,” produced by Beth Marlin. Jesus Christian Center #1 won this category.

The nominations for the Most Watched Video on Demand Series (VOD) Series were “Hear O’Israel,” Phenomenal Woman,” and “Scotty’s Drive-In Theater.” Hear O’Israel won the award for this category.

Those nominated for the Most Watched Video on Demand (VOD) Episode included “Phenomenal Woman,” “The Voice of Brain Injury: A Family Affair,” and “The Voice of Brain Injury: Support Groups.” “The Voice of Brain Injury: A Family Affair won this category.

Those shows nominated for Best Podcast included “Brunch, Travel, Jump,” “Conversations With Vonne,” “DivaSpeaks Relationships,” “Ol’ Skool Kickback,” “QC Prayze,” and “The Truth Hurts.” The show that won this category was QC Prayze.

The last category of Volunteer of the Year saw many nominations. Those nominated for Volunteer of the Year were the following:

Eric Cunningham won the award as our volunteer of the year. The achievement awards this year were exciting for us all. We were happy to highlight the outstanding shows, podcasts, and volunteer efforts that make Access 21 a great place for members. We look forward to next year’s awards ceremony.
